Objective:Given internet resources, the learner will characterize the climate of the great depression by writing down their infernces from a picture/song lyrics and prove/disprove infernces by facts from web resources.
Unit Objective:TLW identify and analyze art, music and literature and make connections between influence of the time period and the artform.

Anticipatory SET: View an Animoto-collection of photographs from the Great Depression (under construction).

Input/Guided Practice- Students will work in groups to analyze picture/visual discovery

Students will go to other group's stixy and use internet searches to prove or disprove inferences.Using advanced searches in google, the students will find interviews of people who lived during the Great Depression and write down their findings.

Closure: Students will read lyrics of "Brother Can You Spare a Dime?" Student's Response: What connection can you make bewtween the picture in stixy and the song lyrics/meaning?
